Hi everyone.
I've had a few goes at the blackfish the last couple of weeks, but have come home empty-handed until today.
Took me about 3 hours, but I managed 2 fish, both about 40cm. When I filleted them, I noticed they had really fat bellies and I thought they might have eggs. But they just had completely full stomachs - and they took my bait on top of that - greedy buggers.

Hey Gorey they from the Tweed? Im off for 4.5 weeks holidays in 5 more days, whos counting ? Gonna give the Tweed a run, and perhaps the seaway ?

Nice fish for this early in the season. Is that from the spot we discussed last season?

Yeah Greg same spot.
I tried the seaway last week, but didn't get any - one hookup for about 2 seconds. It's still a bit early to get good numbers, hence my low strike rate.
