Interesting stat, only 2 fish caught on swimbaits on the weekend, one on squidgy, one on a storm.

    Hey Matt

It may be a case of new dam, back to old techniques for Mondy.......probably more than coincidental that cycles tend to repeat themselves.

Give a man a fish & he will eat for a day !
    Teach him how to fish
& he will sit in a boat - & drink beer all day!

I'm sure suspended hardbodies will be the mainstay for the next few months, but I'm sure there will be many anglers buying transams to give them a go as well.

I've finally gotten around to editing some pics, here is some of the day one shots

Here are some fishing pics, Note how dark the Mondy fish are atm, they have changed from their chrome with yellow tails look of last year, and are now sporting the Awoonga look! to go with the new season and water clarity.

Note - the water is definitely clearer with visability down to around 3 feet.

    Cheers,

    Matt

    Thanks Steve,

Tough bite, lucky dip fishing really. The fish were thick on Pelican Point - but 99.9% had lockjaw, every now and then one bit. Myself and my non boater got real lucky in the last hour of fishing. Getting three fish in about 15 - 20 minutes, in a mini-hotbite!

It certainly turned our weekend around.

Great social weekend, very busy at Kirkliegh!

    Cheers,

    Matt
