with my navman 7100, i could receive but not send, it was sent back to navman, and as it was out of warranty, thats it they wont touch it, they only repair/replace when the item is under warranty.................the radio came as a package deal with the boat, but i certainly wont be buying another of the same brand now i know they dont want to know you when the warranty expires

I can understand it is frustrating that is why I am ensuring I have documented with the dealer and on this site the problems with my radio. If it continues I have noted these problems before the warranty expires in August. A warranty is just that and when it has expired the dealer is no longer obligated to fix it. However if it has not worked since new then perhaps that is a different proposition.
