Just spoke with Cairns remote council about road conditions coastal rd from Mossman to Cooktown. The lady that answered said that from the 1st April they have had 1 m of rainfall...............
She said at the moment getting to Cape tribulation would be very very difficult and beyond Cape trib.......impossible
Take care and hope it dries up soon.
I am heading up that way on 25th April..............hopefullly I can get across Bloomfield
