    Are you allowed onto the jetty to fish?

    No it is not open to the public. Although have heard of some people climbing the fence to fish ,but why would you bother to as you can just fish off the beach.

    I asked because on Google Earth it looks like it goes right out to deep water.

    I also think there will be barbed wire and cameras in use on that jetty for monitoring purposes.

    Looks good and the few I know who have climbed the fence have done ok, but having said that why would you want to risk a fine and prosecution for trespass?
    There is a lot of other good legal land based spots in the area. Fingle lighthouse,the causeway,Kingscliff Cabba. headland or even down at at Hastings or further south.

    I remember hearing sometime last year a few guys got a good fine for being caught on there having a fish.
    Vegetarian - Ancient tribal slang for the village idiot that can't hunt, fish or ride.

    A visit from the cop's and a 300 buck fine if caught trespassing on the jetty.
