Bream are on at Ningi (05.04.10)

Having eaten my last lot of bream with all the family on Good Friday, they wanted some more - hence, ducked out on Sunday to another eventful lunch time session. Same again, fished the last 2 hours of the run in and scored some nice bream. Cook them up with a new Morachan Spice i have - they are great!
I use the same techniques as always, 10ft 6" rod, 3kg line, and a no.2 hook with cubes of fresh mullet bait. I fish no deaper than 2.5ft. Works a treat.
I'll have to learn to take a camera with me to get some other shots instead of dead fish in my esky. Anyway, hope you all enjoyed a safe and happy easter. Cheers, Darren.

Nice feed of bream there Darren. Nothing like simplicity in a rig - works every time.

Hey Darren if you are only fishing shallow for them then using some small bream hardbody lures and fishing those same flats would be great fun, Peter.

well done Darren. You sure love your bream mate. Winter coming up will see you into those snodgers again, and hopefully get you out with me for a reefie trip mate.

    Cheers,
    Scott
