Fresh Mullet fillets

Anyone know the best priced place to buy fresh mullet fillets on the Gold Coast? I like fresh fillets for fishing offshore.

I usually get mine at woolworths ( fresh) sometimes I have get them to order them in it depends on the time of year the pro's only chase them when they are full of roe. In the off season woolies will get them in a 5 kg box for you frozen from Raptis.

It is great reef bait and goog starter bait up the creek

Yes I agree and I own a cast net as use it when ever I am at the coast. However the 260k drive makes it impossible to slip down after work to see whats about. time

yeah most of the major food chains have fresh mullet MOST of the time. sometimes they are out but you can usually find another shop that has them. fresh mullet is so much better for crabbing and fishing. It stays on your hook longer too.

my mate and cast new fresh mullet in the pine and other places. really makes a difference.
