The score has been heavily weighted in the Jacks favour of late as I have busted off more times than I care to remember but I got my revenge with a nice fat 53 yesterday.
Mullet were hard to get I managed 6, 3 small ones and 3 jumbo models. Flicked some lures around waiting for the tide to turn.
Went up to a fav snag that I have lost a few on (the one upstream from the highway Chris) and lobbed in one of the jumbo models, he lasted about 5 seconds, head bitten clean off, missed both hooks.
Second jumbo model lasted same time sept he had his guts cleanly removed again missing both hooks, bugga, last chance.
In goes the last sacrifice, boom, didn't miss that one, dumb ass fish swum straight out of the snag so I backed the drag off and enjoyed the fight.
He rests in the fridge now until his date with the BBQ tonight.
