Finally went fishin again

I finally got out again after a couple of months due to work being very busy, and of course the rain. I had an allnighter with my mate Frank and happily came home with a feed. 14 sandies and 3 pinkys. I only have pics of the bigger pinky (45cm) with the other 2 going 36 and 37. The crab pics are my share and Frank is eating the rest. Stacks of mozzies, plenty of vermin. I think we managed at least one of every type of vermin there is.

My bigger rod has 30 lb braid on it, and I managed to cut through the anchor rope with it, which was unusual. I had a 3' shark on and it went under the anchor rope, which I could feel on the rod. As I tried to turn it around, the extra pressure from the anchor rope came off, which I assumed was from the shark turning back towards me. It was only 5 minutes later when I went to up the anchor for a move that we noticed the anchor was gone, and the anchor rope was worn right through. Lucky another mate that lives at Ningi was able to bring his anchor down to the boat ramp for us to use for the rest of the night.

Had a great night, and was happy to be out fishing again.

nah, he has more mouths that eat crab at his place, my 3 yo. daughter thinks crabs are "dirty, filthy and disgusting" and won't touch them, the missus doesn't get excited about them, which leaves me with crab for dinner and lunch for 2 days...... poor me LOL!!
