Thread: Hussey Creek

    Hussey Creek

Went for a run up to Hussey Creek to give the boat a run and try for a few Whiting and Mud Crabs . Tide was not the best and water was very Tannin coloured on the last of the ebb tide. Plenty of Mudcrabs but alas all undersized this time. Scored some nice Whiting on Blood Worms . Looking promising for up coming holidays if weather cooperates. Coochin.

    Hi Sandbankmagnet ,
Didn't raise a jenny , which is unusual , just undersized bucks. By the amount of floats between the Donnybrook ramp and the Yellow crossover marker there must be a few crabs in the area. It was difficult just getting through the channel trying to avoid the floats. Coochin.
