Ben,
I was thinking a bit more about this thread, and I think we need to change the angle a bit.
Rather than rate vehicles post-by-post, we need to make a table and have it sticky'd to the 4WD forum.
The table needs to have three columns:
1. 4WDs (Defined as geniune off road vehicles) eg. Nissan Patrol
2. Softroaders with 4WD ability (pratical and capable systems, and proof of ability) eg. Subaru Forester
3. Pretend Softroaders (basically cars shaped like boxes with low or no offroad ability) eg. Honda CRV
Then we apply the average rating system as per your post to each vehicle based on members experience (so if we have 10 Patrols, we average the members ratings, taking into account mods).
Then we can have a line drawn in the sand that this forum agrees on what is shitt and what IS the shitt, if you know what I mean.
Yeah, I know what you mean. The perfect senario is to have a stock vehicle. Rate it. Then add a mod and rate it again. Take it back to stock and do another mod etc etc.. To cross referance everything. But, that wont happen.
Your more than welcome to put something together if you like... The idea is there.
Anyway Lads, I must go, Im off to fraser in the morning
