    Tin Can Bay Houseboat trip.

    Hi Fellas,
After some advice on places to go and things to do. Have 6 nights booked leaving from Tin Cin Bay on Easter Monday. Will be towing my 4.5m Tabs for a bit of fishing and crabing.

    Cheers

I've done the Tin Can Bay houseboat trip a few times.

Mate... The place is huge. What sort of stuff are you chasing? There's sandbanks for whiting and sandcrabs, creeks for muddies and "mangrove" fish. There's reefs for snapper, cod, sweetlip and parrot.

One thing I will say is that if it's a stiff SE wind blowing, you don't want to be caught in a houseboat in an outgoing tide in the middle of the straight! There's a serious swell that can roll through there. I witnessed it just before it started to get up and I'm glad we bugged out early.

In saying that, there's also plenty of options in TCB itself.

The plan is to put a bit of distance from Inskip to get away from the crowd. Somewhere up around Gary's ancorage/ Dream Island. Will try and chase some
whitting with the kids and a lure up the creeks.

My dictionary defines green as ‘unripe, immature, undeveloped'. Perfect description.

Most political parties are seen as interested in what the voters think, the Greens are seen as thinking the community should be interested in what they think.
