    Pumicestone passage Caloundra

Had a week of to go chasing prawns but with all the rain its bit of a joke so the last 3 days been doing a bit of fishing found some bait prawns to keep me going for live bait ,1st day 4 whiting 5 bream, 2nd day 8 whiting and a few bream, and yesterday i thought i would go down near tripcony bight and take 4 pots with me put the pots in and fished in eyesight checked them after 2 hours and got 4 keepers could not believe it put them back in for hour and a half and got 1 more best i have ever done and not 1 jenny at all in the pots ,fishing kept 10 whiting let a few bream and a flathead go normally only keep whiting,so all in all not a bad few days off apart from the wind and rain.

    Nice work Wombie ,
How is the water quality up that way ? Is there still much fresh on the bottom of the tides ? Hoping to get up around there after Easter.

    Well done Wombie!

By the ways, guys, I drove past the Roys Road and found it to be closed. Is it open yet or is there an alternative to get to campground?

    Cheers

Well done mate especially re tthe crabs. Good ffed there!
Im overseas with work at the mo so its making me keen for a fish when i get back. I pretty much thought the water would still have alot of fresh in it. Should be prime for after easter and the Flatties will be lining up for me!
    Cheers
