I think I saw them at Jaycar the other day for around $70.
I was looking at a link Charlieville posted in the camping section and found these.
Don't know what they're like....but delivery is free
I have ordered some other stuff through this mob. We'll see what the quality is like I suppose.

Some of their other stuff is a bit of an eye opener. The cook wants to get a spare wirless mouse of them. US$17 beats the $80odd the last one cost.
And they have Fluke mulitmeters at about 1/3 of the cost here if I remember OK.
Who's going to be the guinea pig on the HID kits??
I intend on living for-ever....so far so good

Not to get technical...... but according to Chemistry, ALCOHOL IS A SOLUTION

If you compare both the pictures of the bulbs they seem to be very similar.
I looked further....they have kits for 2 lights for $99 at Jaycar.

Well there you go hey!!
We should do a whip around to see who wants a kit in Brisbane nd get 10 of the buggers. They're only $79 then.

What is the difference with the 8000k and 6000k bulbs??
I intend on living for-ever....so far so good
I've ordered plenty of other knick-knacks from them and they have been ok.
Let me know how you go with the HID kit if you end up ordering one..
8000k is too blue
6000k is good
I have the 50watt cheap evilbay jobies in the HID hi/low beam for just under $100 delivered and they are great in the old GQ
some of the globes bounce inside their housing and you see a wobble in your head lights, more so in the oncoming traffic with them installed
also put a set of 50w ones in my Super Oscar spot lights too
sikaflexed them behind the grill next to the lights
cheers Murf
Make sure they are ADR approved.
