A bit long winded but I'm sure you get my meaning.

EcoFishersQld is releasing a petition saying pretty much that. I believe it became available for signing yesterday at The Tinny and Tackle Show, and is available in other places too.

Not to make too much of an issue of it but Pew has a very diverse investment strategy and they are very careful and get very touchy when you try and brand all of Pew with the same brush.

SO just so we know, we are dealing with the Pew Environment Group in Australia who are a Not For Profit organisation.

This is quite distinct from the Pew Fellowships which are being offered to Australian scientists producing research to demonstrate the benefits of large completely closed reserves.

There is a lot of discussion about the Pew modus operandi around the traps - check out http://www.offsettingresistance.ca/ . While they may no longer have direct investment in the Oil industry, you can bet that their investment portfolio is wide ranging and not all "clean green".

Lets keep our eyes open and on the game - they are not happy with Garrett's announcement and are arrogant enough to believe that they will change his mind
