Mate if you do a search on Redbook they list the details for most car brands and i have found them to be pretty accurate, however they don't allow for any mods to the car.

Anyone know of a web page that lists the towing capacities of the popular 4x4 on the market. I need to start from 2006 appox.

This is a bit of a long winded way but you can do a product search and it will give you the towing weight and ball weight.

Thanks Nidrac & Bros,
I have not tried Red Book yet, but I did find the Hayman & Reese site very helpful.

Carbudy also has various information on a variety of vehicles.
there are several others.
Remember some of these sites have accuracy issues because of the information provided to them.
The glove box handbook is usulay a good thing.
But even then this can have its problems.
some of the brands the "real" "official " towing capacity can be a bit of a mystery and you have to enquire of the manufacturer.
Toyota and Nissan seem to have made sure their towing capacities are well known and documented.
cheers
Its the details, those little details, that make the difference.
