Mine is pretty basic but was the most useful things that we had on our trip away to mapoon.. Baby wipes.. fantasically refreshing, wet them a bit more and clean you up amazingly... surprised me a little how refreshing they where at the end of the day..
weird what the first thing that sprung to my mind was.. bloody fairy i am.. hahaha
KingKev,
Archer Point is a great spot if you can get out of the wind.
And obviously The Lions Den Hotel for a cleansing ale & meal, they have camping and accom also.
Kewy
Yer watch out for the croc's.
Paw Paw cream good for bites burns lips chaff etc.
Thanks guys
Yes.......Archers point is on the agenda. Paw-paw cream sounds good. Where does one get that from?
Been told that 50m back from the water should be OK for crocs.........just be croc wise.
Not sure about lighting fires up there........probably not allowed.
Need to check alcohol restrtictions as well around Wujul wujul etc.
maybe citranella oil or mossie coils
sounds like the buggers are vicious up there
We stayed at Haley's cabins in Bloomfield. Good spot with ok camping area. Good beaches nearby.
Good to hear Chisel.............that is another [place we plan to stay at. Hope the fishing at Haley's is as good as it looks.
Looks very fishy and hopefully not too windy so I can get some beach fishing done
Thanks
I will make sure we do not carry any beers with us when we stop at wujul-wujul
Hoping to kill some fish around the traps............save the beer drinking till after the catch
cheers
A night at the Lions Den will be well deserved after that sort of drought. You can just stagger to one of their rooms if need be, an experience in itself.
