    landabsed plastics

fished one of my usual bayside brisbane haunts, Anticipating nothing condiering the 50 to 70 knott gusts I make the call to throw a few plactics for about half a hour or soo. i turdge down and make the first few casts and i realise quickly that i would have to position myself with the wind right at my back. after a few casts at position a1 the reel suddenly goes into reverse as a zzzzzzzzzzzz could be herd a solid hookup was felt a 35cm trevally was landed to my surprise.... i almost walked back to the car then... but someting to told me to keep going.. i then soon after got a plastic bitten in half and i re loaded the plastic and said ahh just 5 more casts... on the final cast of the day the real goes into overdrive as another good hookup is felt this felt a more solid fish is felt this time as a catch a glimse of a flash of red.... I was hoping for a jack but i kinda knew that it would probably be a good squire.... And it was!!

my first legal squire on plastics landbased went 39cm and was kept for dinner...

might be a good season this year....

Awesome session for half a hours work in 50 to 70 knott winds

    Well done mate,
I might take advantage of the 100+ knot winds on Sunday and see if I can do some damage. It’s been a few weeks since my drags had a work out (unless you count wind surfers ). If your keen for a fish tomorrow morn let us know.
