Lunch time threadfin.

Couldn't believe my luck today, got a phone call to say I have to pop into an old job site near the mouth of the river today around 11am. What a great idea for a fish at lunch aye, good enough excuse for me anyways.

So lunch came I tied on an old fav lure, lucky craft vib. After only 2cast the 3rd one got nailed on the drop. A firm strike and I was on, the fish had me around all sorts of structure but I had faith in my knots, 60lb fluro leader and 30lb braid. After 5min of a stressful fight (really wanted to land this, its dinner). A 95cmish threadfin surfaced at my feet.

Good lunch break aye? Sorry about photo on brag mat, I was solo fishing.

Anyways, I now have some fresh dinner. (First threadfin I have kept in over 8mths)

good fish matt. I havent been down the mouth for a good while, now that ive got the lure making into a rhythym i can take some time off weather depending.

how is the water looking down there, we seemed to avoid the flooding that we got last year..see any trees floating downstream? lol

Vert, the hair is working wonders, it adds another element to the lures and worked out better than i had envisioned at the start for a simple thing- thanks mate
