left manly at 5am, went to the rouse, put in 3 dillies and 1 pot.........bay chop on the way out but eventually as themorning wore on it panned out dead flat, with no breeze
i had 5 squid on board before i caught a whiting, i didnt catch any more squid, ended up with 5 squid, 4 sandies and 18 whiting with the biggest whiting going 32cm, couple around the 30, best quality i have had out there, even though the numbers were down
    cheers

axl, weather doesnt look good for boating at all this weekend
rosco, i put the dillies/pot in the rouse......one dillie had a hole in it, not caused by a turtle as too small, i use gutter guard for baitholder, and it was shredded, whatever it was, was certainly hungry, i had old whiting frames for bait
the squid were about 6" in body size, i used someone's tip on this site to turn them inside out to clean, i didnt use a pool cue, i used a wooden spoon end and pushed it against the squid then peeled it back like a foreskin
crumbed and deepfried for 15 seconds, tender as
    cheers
