    Cooky,
Perhaps not what you want to hear, but IMHO by the time you mess around it would be better, easier and probably cheaper to purchase a 100 series turbo diesel auto from the outset.

If you want auto buy an auto , don't bother with conversions . If you want turbo then buy a turbo , none turbos are very SLOW , especialy if you want to tow ..

AS said, if you are after an auto get a Turbo diesel auto, even if you put an auto in a naturally aspirated diesel, which is already slow, itll become wayyyyy slower, (thats slow indeed), so spend the extra coin up front and get a turbo diesel auto,

it is certainly possible to convert a manual to an auto (or the other way round) but as everyone has eluded to here, it is more trouble than it is worth, far better to keep looking for one.

    G'day,

I suggest you call QFleet and ask them how many T/D autos they have and when they are coming up for sale.

QFleet is the Queensland Government's fleet manager and they are the biggest buyer of 4x4s in Queensland. That means they are also the biggest seller.

I take it your looking for a live axl front end and not the IFS guessing by the year model?.......If you do go ahead with the conversion have a look at the later 5spd auto aswell...
