Hi all,
Just got back from Mondy and the water is still rising to the point where there is very little room now to turn around and there is a line of cars & trailers up the bitumen road. Looks like the concrete ramp will be the way to go soon.

Thanks Steve.
Yes there was this thing in the sky yesterday...I am not sure what it was, but it was a bright yellow colour.![]()
...but its gone now. We had another big downpour here last night, and its raining again now, so I would think there is more rise left in Mondy yet.
The burnett river is in full noise too, BIG water going under the main bridge south of Gin Gin, caused by paradise is running over by 1.2m apparently + all the rain. I have to take some photos for work, so I will try to post them today!
We have several areas here cut off (not bruce hwy) but around wallaville and the goodnight scrub area. i think there is plenty of water still to come down.
Cheers Steve
I dont have ADHD......ohh look a squirrell !!!
yer Steve, there was water over the road in a couple of places between Ban Ban Springs and Goomeri. We drove up the Paradise dam road to have a look but the road was closed due to water over it, so we had to turn around.
I dont find it hard to imagine that Mondy will get over 70% because it rose so quickly while we were there. Even while we were out fishing the ramp area changed so much. The sun made a whole lot of difference Sat. morning. Some bays up the north arm were over 30 Deg. when we left at 1pm.
I was there on the week-end. The forecast, for Sat, was for showers with heavy rain at noon, as you know there was some cloud with near blue skys by noon, so much for forecasts. Who cares, I went out on Sunday in the rain and had a ball, 2 hours late getting back to Maryborough. No bites or strikes, try again at Easter.
