Thread: Airbag suspension

    Re: Airbag suspension

OK, I didn't end up going with airbags! After several suspension gurus told me that to do this, to leaf springs, is the easiest way to crack your chassis. Instead I have had the leaf spring packs replaced with a much heavier duty pack, and then re-fitted my Load Helper springs on top of these. The differece is incredible on my ute. It's like driving a different vehicle & I'm really happy with the result.
Thanks again to everyone for your input on this topic, it really helped me with my research into this. Oh! I hope I haven't scared anyone with airbags over their leaf springs, but the reasons against made sense (for my situation anyway).
    Cheers,
    Leigh (Kero).
