Hi All,
We all heard a lot about this 'tsunami' and it's effects, or lack there of.
I'm betting quite a few 'ignored' the warnings and went out anyway.
For those, I have two questions:
1) Did you notice anything on the water (swell or current?)
2) Did the fish seem to come on or off the bite, or no difference at all?
Main reason I ask, is that we're often told that tides can have a huge difference on the 'bite' patterns of the fish. With 'supposed' drastic changes with the tide that may or may not have arrived due to the tsunami, outside of the patterns associated with the moon phases, I'm just curious as to how the fish 'reacted'?
I hope that this doesnt decend into an argument regarding the warnings and what not, I'm just interested from the people that did go fish today if they noticed anything regarding the fish biting around that time?
I heard about the warning earlier in the day, thought bugger it, nothings happening, i want to go and thats it.
So went beach fishing.
I don't think much changed at all, the tides were running the same as per norm.
Fish species were on/off the bite per tide changes as per norm.
If anything it was really nice out there tonight from 1800 - 2200...
Full moon, with some light clouds, minimal rain and warm breeze from the East.
Caught a few nice size tailor, couple shovels and seen a few dart and flatty being caught.
One of the nicest nights out.
