nice fish shame about the toga there awesome fish
With the Eastern arm closing tomorrow I decided to hit it for last session for awhile with a mate(LeeLee) today. We hit the water at 6am & headed towards the dam wall to hit the points down there before you hit the exclusion zone. It's didn't take to long to start to get hits with our spinnerbaits off the bass in the dam.
I got my first & the best of the day from a favourite point of my mine which gave me a good fight & overall a good account of itself. Working point to point along the arm with a dozen cast or so saw me land bass measuring 33, 37, 37.5 & 38cm & with a few more undersize fish hitting the deck. It ended up being day firsts also, with my first dirty old Catfish being hooked & losing my first ever saratoga boat side when the hooks popped out of it's mouth when we tried to net it!! Disappointing but a good lesson learnt for next time.. The Toga looked like it was around the 60cm mark.. Overall it was good day out on the water personally tho Lee may think otherwise..

good session mate,
a shame to lose the toga but i dont reckon u will be far off one, there seems to be a lot around at the moment,
just wondered what colour spinners did the damage..
Cheers,
Ben
Was a good day on the water with small fish for me but was good to see you get your mojo back and start wacking fish.
Cheers
Lee
