Don't recall seeing a grey bluefin Al and there weren't many boats there on Saturday! Must have missed you. We were in a white Horizon Stalker.

    Next time perhaps....

I predict it will fish very well in a month or so.

Great to read the report and see the photos guys. Well done on the fish you caught and you sure both look happy with your fish. Good to be rewarded for your efforts. Its pretty exciting following the progress of all the dams with this inflow let alone experiencing it first hand. - cheers Richard

    Lovely stuff lads, well done!

Do we have a new goal for the boys this year - smallest barra? Any one can catch a metery, but a 43, holy schmokes!!!

Dam is big, and getting bigger, if you like a challange, well, game on!

    Cheers Brian,

We are always up for a challenge and will hit Mondy again in April...it will be a cracker of a fishery by then.

How about you? Another sneaky trip before going back to work?

What is the smallest barra caught by lure at Mondy? I remember vet (Scott) had a tiny one during the muster....the pic is in his last thread. There was also a 41 caught in the 2008 ABT....

    Thanks Nath,

As you know Mondy can be tough anytime. We are always grateful if we come home with a barra pic or two....mind you our results are much better thanks to Kyle. On average I donut every second trip so he holds our team together!

Can't wait for the next trip....damn IBD!

Congrats on another good trip Peter and Kyle! And a great report Pete. Thanks for keeping us all updated on the rise and rise of Mondy. The pics are great, both the barra pics and the water level ones. It looks like you were pretty stoked to get your fish on board!

Got to love it when a plan comes together.

    Well done,

    Matt

    Thanks Matt,

How can you not be happy after a bizarre capture like that one? I think my emotions were a mixture of joy and relief....

As I said earlier, any fish from Mondy is a good one...

    Cheers

Well Done Pete and Kyle, some great fishing there!! I was dying to get out that day!!! I wished I had a rod at the ramp!!! when all went quiet..(no boats, nothing) I had a bit of a chance to sit and watch water movements, bait activity and a few awesome barra boofs!!!! Learnt a few things in the time.

Great to see Kyle on such a good streak...hes a top angler..and your still a top guide!!

Well done to you both again.

    Cheers Steve
