Do you really need to go- It might be pretty tough with the water quality all ready deteriorating .
Mind you - trolling the lower reaches could be productive

Chris I have been needing to fish Mondy again for 9 months. Even if its tough its better than working hey. Its also probably the last time I will get a chance for another 9 months.
Just another Barra tragic with not much time on his hands i spose
And I also want to try out the new side imaging unit

Well, unless we have more inflows it should be a matter or weeks not months before the water quality improves.
Last time wasn't quite the quantity of water, but took only a few weeks for the improvements to be noted.
Lots of experts out there, will probably let us know.
Will be up there middle of March, so will have good indication by then.
Advise received (from a reliable source) was what we went on last time.
The boys up north dealing with the impoundments that flood on a more regular basis, i'm sure will be able to offer us an insight into what we can expect.
But again, depends on whether we get more inflows.
Its all good and lots of exploring and new methods to try.
How far up the dam and also the new islands, extended bays, points. How long before new weedbeds to form etc.
