Hervey bay GT

This one was around december and as i haven't been out for a while and the wife kicking my butt with her "toga post" i thought this would be a nice equaliser.

caught it on a "5" snap back at the fairway bouy of gataker bay in hervey bay qld

Hey seahorse. The fairway buoy is about 12km 'N' from gatakers bay which is at pt vernon in hervey bay. Just becareful of the beacon as this is the imaginary line that is epirb country, 'N' side of the beacon is epirb country and the 'S' side is not

is it from the mainland or out from fraser?
This is my first time out in these waters.

Sounds like the beacon is on the boundary line of partially smooth waters and open waters?

your right slyman ,an imaginary line between roonies point ,the fairways over to burrum heads inside all partially smooth no epirbs required ,the fairways is also extrtemely popular and getting a birth there to fish is hard lots of great places to fish around here though just read fishntales and you will get the drift.
