Rocky Dam Creek during the wet
Hello,
A question for the Mackay/Sarina locals - is Rocky Dam worth fishing after the rain that we have had in the last week?
Have been frequenting the place in the last 9 months and it hasn't been too bad in terms of catches of grunter/cod etc. However the creek has a pretty good catchment and I'd assume there must be a lot of fresh in there now.

Mate I imagine it would be good for the muddies out near the mouth after all the rain

Yes I see Mt Christian got a mention on the weather last night. I also noted that there is a flood height recording station there also. Yes is has been in flood. Has a fairly big catchment it seems plus that area just to the south of Sarina seems to get its share of rainfall.
Col, do you fish more towards the mouth after the fresh?
