Gladstone hot water outlet location?

o'nighting in Gladstone on sun and was going to have a flick when i get there. is that it on Hanson Rd (near the big cloud on google maps) and if so how is access to bank around there. Is it obvious or do you need some guidance? screenshot maps with a bit of edit would be great.

Burko,

You need to follow hanson road and take the turn off to the power station and follow this down the ramp to the roundabout. Turn left at the roundabout and then next right (very close to the roundabout) and follow this around to the outlet. A couple of picnic tables there and easy to walk the bank casting.
Bring some boots depending on tide you could be walking on grass or mud and rocks

Don't forget the mossie and sandfly spray, there thick as thieves at the moment after all the rain.

Pretty sure some of the bastards in our back yard have to get clearance from air traffic control before they land

Going back there this Sat night for another go. last time was a dud, not a scale, tried quite a few places up there like the causeway etc for nothing.


how's the fishing up there at the moment? last time there was a boat load of fresh running which put a dampener on the system. Hoping for better results this time.
