Best tides-landbased-COOKTOWN

Planning a trip in april and another in May to Cookton. Can anybody tell me what tides are best for fishing and bait casting etc being landbased.

Probably warf fishing but want to try Annans as well

I will be there when there is not too much run in the tides...........does that mean I will get a bad dose of "No run No fun" ???????

Should have no troubble gettin bait cast net at the warf will get you started.
I have found the run in tide best seen some nice jacks caught near the top of the tide off the warf. The boys at the lure shop will be only to happy to start you off on the right foot. Happy Fishing
