Hi all.
Im thinking about heading up to maaroom for easter break and im just looking for some info on the condition of the boat ramp.
And just some general info on the fishing ,bait gathering spots(yaby banks) and the nearest bait shop.
Any other general info about the township.

any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Ice break
It has a very good ramp and i now believe it evan has a pontoon however it is a very tidal ramp you need at least 2-3 hours of run in to get out using the marked channels as it is very shallow and need to be back in 3 hours before low unless you are staying out till the next change in tide, but you can drive around to tuan 10 minutes away that has a all tide ramp but it takes a while to get out to the main channel from there, there is a small caravan park there with a shop fuel is a bit exy but yabbies can be pumped on most banks and fish close to the mangroves on a rising tide for whiting maryborough is a 20 minute drive they have been getting flathead and chopper tailor to 40 cm trolling lures as well
