The only place I know these buggers hang out is around Noosa, very rarely seen or caught south of Noosa.

Trout are regularly caught inside Moreton bay, haven't seen a thumper like the one in the pic, but certainly legal... hey Pete ?

Further........... a mate catches Red Emporer off Wooli in Nth NSW......

Yep, thumper of a trout there guys and yes, it could have come from 1770.... but I think Sean has donged them all up there maybe they all headed south to escape him ????????

Seems he can only catch Reds now......... bugga !!!!!!
