Bummer, where do you launch at Byron?

arrived at the pass in byron to be greted with a 15knot breeze blowing already.. i put off going jewie fishing last night for an eary offshore trip as the wind prediction was looking ok early am.Not happy. The call was made, it may die off a tad , Wishful thinking. Arrived at our spot dopped anchor and sent down some baits. I was immediatly onto a nice fish and thought you beauty, might be a good morning after all. A few seconds later my i lost him in the fight. .
The wind got worse and worse. We ended up with a few legal kingies for our trouble but with the wind now hitting 20 to 25 knots from the n.e. we made our way slowly back with our tail between our legs. Not the 10knots predictd by seabreeze for early am but had a laugh or to and back home by 9am.

launch at the pass. Always an adventure but worse coming in when the water is full of surfers and swimmers. Need a key and a permit which a mate of mine has, very convenient for me.
