    My 2 cents.

    leave the height alone but angle it one click down at the rear.

    I agree with Chris ( Angla) i think the unit is at the right height and if setting it up this is where i would position it, Pigs transducer imho is waaay to low and i can see why he needs the spray guard, it obviously works but is far from ideal and should be your final fall back. Try tilting it forward first and see where that gets you!

    hi, i agree the back edge should be lower than the leading edge. You should have the unit in clean water no air bubbles running over the unit. I mucked around with my unit for a while, but it reads perfect at all speeds now.

    Thanks guys, appreciate those comments - will give it a go this weekend if the weather improves.
