there's too much fresh around for the bait to stay in the creeks, and unfortuanately with all this wind, the barra will be off limits for most sane people.
The barra will be as far out as maggie island and burdekin rock, but the best place to be to try and stay out of the wind as much as possible will be inside the cape, casting/trolling along the mangroves and rocky headlands
If you do head out, make taking a few pots out mandatory and set them about 1km or so out from the mouths of coco, crocky, alligator and sandfly. Also take a cast net, will be a few prawns around as well
