    Brunswick Trevs

Had a ball today catching some nice sized trevs in the mouth of the Brunswick river and kept 2 for a feed and 2 for the sis in law. Caught using a 20g slug on my tss4 and my old 11'6" that i rebuilt. Can't wait to try them smoked, they were good last time. Boy can they pull and they tried to brick me in the rocks several times. Awesome.

    Re: Brunswick Trevs

i was fishing north wall but was casting back into the middle of the river so it wouldn't have mattered. Bait was just everywhere so i bet the tailor would have been there at dawn and dusk for sure!

Funny thing about surfers and waiting for bigger wave this day not much action for them and they become "onlooker"

    Hi mate
I've been getting a few under the prospect bridge on poppers and blades. Fun on the ultralight SP gear.

I dont get out into the river much anymore, i should though by the sounds of it. Sure would be fun on light gear. Your son should think about getting out to flat rock after this weather clears off and see what takes a livie. Might be able to add to that LT from last year.
