Bridgestone D694LT Opinions
G'day all,
I'm currently considering purchasing a set of these and just after any feedback, good or bad. Will be fitted to a 105 Series Cruiser wagon for mainly bitumen/gravel roads and a bit of sand, not too much rocky stuff. Tyre size is the standard 235/85/16.
Mainly concerned with what sort of mileage people are getting out of them.
Cheers,
Roo.

Re: Bridgestone D694LT Opinions
Michelin have a new ATR tyre Latitude Cross.. Serisouly it sets a new bench mark, Very quiet on the road and chunky enough for a bit off off-roading and good for beach work... Hopeless in the mud though...

A good friend off mine owns a Tyres Plus store,,, He swapped his bridgestones 694's for the Michelin Cross to see what these new tyres were like... He preferres the Michelins, less road noise, more stable and responsive..

Re: Bridgestone D694LT Opinions
I've got the 694LT in 275/65R17 on my 100TD. They did cape york and a fair bit of other touring last year, but I put them on before that trip and haven't done much since - so only 20,000kms or so on them so far. Seem to be wearing ok but can't be sure about long term wear.
I've heard good things in general about the 694LT so I think they'll wear ok.

Re: Bridgestone D694LT Opinions
had the 694 265 75 16 a/t on the work truck nissan patrol wieghing 4t
they lasted 60k and wear a bit noisey at speed and shit in mud but good in sand at 15 psi but the basterds cracked between the treads think cause of the wieght only about 75% worn and i really treated them bad
now have the 694lt a/t same demesions done 15k and are wearing good still a bit noisey at speed these load rated at 1500kg and can be inflated to 80 psi i run 65 cause the weight and are a 100% better than the old ones mainly cause of the wieght they can handle
