Hand spears + one spear gun. No swimming signs all around them. Not to mention to my knowledge it's illegal to spear fish in these waters anyway.
After they 'landed' the fish in the pic they also 'landed' an undersized queenie (not more than about a foot) to which one said "same size as we got yesterday".
Am I being pedantic? Am I right to be a little annoyed?
dang they are keen, got a good size moses bitten in half there not all that long ago by a 5 foot plus bully. not real smart to be swimming near those vents too.
not sure what the rules are with regards to spear there but if they want to swim there good luck to them but certainly agree with your feelings for the baby queenies, thats not right...
That ridiculous. Even after blatantly ignoring the no swimming signs, and possibly involving themselves in illegal spearfishing (I don't know the rules regarding spearfishing) they decided to take undersize fish.
Some people just don't get it. And it's that minority that ruin it for the rest of us.

No I don't think your being pedantic. I think some people don't think the laws apply to them. I'm pretty sure the signs are put there for a reason.
Shame when it happens but isn't this a candidate for a possible Darwin award when it happens.
