gday all,
went out in laguna bay the other day hoping for some mackeral. got out there and it was pretty dead. trolled around for a while and then out to the close in reefs for nothing. didnt see any spotties only big schools of small mac tuna and bonito.
was ready to head in when we spotted what we were after. we ended up getting 4 spotties 3 over 70cm. all caught on a 25 gram slug with 30lb fluro leader. didnt get bitten off once. came in petty happy after a slow start.
