spotty session s/day 9/01/10
Well with a 10/15 forcast s/day we headed out of mooloolaba and headed off point cartright and there where birds working the bait no far out.
we trolled lures and managed 3 spotties in the morning and waited for the turn off tide in the afternoon.
it came alive and the bait schools of tiny silver baitfish where balled up with hundreds of spotties smashing through them.
we cast slugs while this happened and finished up at 3.30 saturday as we had 13 spotties on board with 4 p,o,b.2 crew where going out and we had enough fish.
the day got better as it went on and did not travell far to get them.
i hear they r a bit thin today but lets hope they come back.
cheers mark.
