Pray that the skiers have gone home & work the points in the main basin.
Top spot to camp & fish when its quiet, enjoy.

Re: boondooma
Hey mate the big boys that guide there etc go into the main basin and use their sounders to locate bass and then drop metal jigs and stuff onto them. It's prob easier to take some spinner baits. If you can find a layer of weed about two metres under water that drops away into deeper water, try pulling the spinnerbaits over the top of the submerged weed from the deeper water at dawn and dusk. Never did well at deep rocky areas myself although some do. I always preferred flat weedy bays in low light conditions. Haven't been there for years so don't know where you can find conditions like this but I would try going up towards the Junction, where the Boyne and Stewart meet.

Just sound around the main basin and the bays not too far from the camp sites. There are some great weedy ledges that even soft plastics do well on. I like the Jackall lures myself and curly/wrigler tail plastics (never done too well on spinners there).
As the guys have said, as long as the main traffic has gone you will have a ball. Great spot.....wish I was there now.
