Just had 3 days at Somerset Dam with the kids. Caught 1 Yellowbelly at 48cm and 60+ Bass to 44cm all on lures trolling. Got aout 20 Redclaw , not to good at catching those things. Bass are pretty well scattered all over. Got smashed up a couple of times and donated a few lures. Good time had by all. Mick

The camping ground wasn't too busy, there was plenty of room. There was heaps of skiers but they didn't bother us,they seem to hang around the ramps and are off the water before dinner time. I left my boat in the water and pulled it up enough so it didn't swing around with all the wash. Of a night I just took out my sounder, lures and rods, the things I can't go fishing without the next day. I try to be a bit trusting of my fellow man. There was quite a few guys leaving there boats in the water. The only problem up there is the shop only carries ice, ice creams and coke. If you need any extras you have to run into town , (with isn't far). Best 2 sessions I had was one early morning from 6am to 9am and the next day 5pm to 7pm and the fish went off the bit as it got darker. Hope this helps. Mick

I think I might have found one of your donated lures floating at Somerset on Saturday when I was there. Might have to give it a go sometime if you caught that many fish. If you want it back send me a PM with some details of what it was and where you lost it and we can arrange a meet down there sometime and I will give it back to you. I go to Somerset regularly.
