Hit the North shore Thurs lunchtime, drove up the beach checking out the gutters. Pretty clean at the moment, with the worst gutters only having minimal snot weed present. Fish were hard to come by with undersize Whiting, Dart and Tailor making their presence known (as well as the rain).
Late in the arv found a gutter up near freshwater that had some alright whiting in it and not long after that some average choppers. Pretty quiet even around/after dusk so went and got a campsite at Teewah. Got up early the next morn and wandered out the front for a cast, some more average whiting on the worms and a couple of nice flatties.
Not bad I guess for the buzzing highway that the Northshore is at the moment and it's always nice to spend some time at the beach. Beach is good for driving on currently and even at high tide it's not to bad, the best I've seen in awhile anyway.
