that's not uncommon Carnster, marlin are also fond of toadies and when they have had a few you can see them drunk/tripping out on the surface!

Hit tweed offshore sun morn and caught a nice dollie with a yakka and about five 12cm long toad fish in its gutz. Maybe I should change my troll baits. sorry no pics.

Alcohol doesn't agree with me, but i sure do enjoy the argument!!!
found snapper with them in there guts to
Till the toadfish schools hit the tweed the fishing doesn't hit it's straps, fish regurgitate them live all over the boat regularly
Rethink your 3rd toad !! one day you'll get caught ! ! !
Are we talking about the "big green racing toads" with big heads and the beak mouth that can bite through a hook in one go or the more estuary version puffer fish?
Cheers
Chris
Democracy: Simply a system that allows the 51% to steal from the other 49%.
I believe sails and oddly the tiger shark indulge in the odd toad ! i have read articals reporting both specieces to be acting oddly once they have consumed a few, reports from the underworld have condoned the increase of consuming these puffy delights

Magic mushies for marlins
I recall my old man telling me of a time many years ago off Yeppoon when all the spaniards being caught had cane toads in their guts. Apparently it was after a big wet and thousands of the things had washed down the Fitzroy and offshore.
I suppose it just goes to show that anything is possible - given the right conditions.
Cheers,
Steve
Can someone rig a toad as a skip bait and post a photo please??????
