    worth a go i reckon

My first Barra was 1m 7cm caught on a peice of bacon strapped to a 7'0 hook in the salt , so im going to try a selection of animal fat topped of with vegimite. i shall lightly marinate a dozen of my finest SP's, i kept last nights fat from the lamb roast, so its roasted garlic lamb with fat infused with vegimite goo on SP's and if it dont work i can eat the them

you lads arnt going to beleive this , i just rolled some fish pellets in vegimite and lamb fat and chucked them in my fish tank , i have two sooty's and a stripey, the stripey is a fussy bastard that i have to feed prawns and guppies to, the two sooty's went shy and the stripey is going a hundred miles an hour around the tank smashing the coated fish pellets.

your a legend Dicko my stripey cant get enough he's going spastic in the tank, the bastard of a thing wouldnt eat them before and when he did he only spat them at me, even got me excited about it now,lol

Looks like we will be doing more than lamb roasts in the camp ovens at mondy add a tad a v/mite into the garlic and lamb fat put the softies in and bake for 1 h on low insert hook and cast to the barra ,i have caught snapper on a charter boat after throwing chook bones over as berly no other fish was caught before then we got 2 straight after and during lunch when disposing of the bones

I tried Lamb Garlic and v-factor last night just before dark in the salt, had a lot of strikes and one solid half taker(mangrove jack), one thing i did find was that bream where actually having a good go at it.
Biggest problem was trying to get the goo to stick,i would have to re-apply after 6 or so casts but when i did i had numerous strikes, maybe i need to pepper the SP with tiny holes ??
    So far so good,more testing

Ps my fussy strippey licks his lips and does cartwheels in the tank for the stuff and now the sooty's are itching for the stuff as well
