I got a few on popper whilst chasing whiting a few weeks back.
Not bad bream either. Much, much less traffic up there as well.
Good stuff Pete...mate crowds are everywhere. Had a throw in the upper reaches of the Evans Head river the other day. 6 tinnies crabbing in a creek lucky to be 50m across makes the fishing really tough.............got me beat how the crabs persist in this creek
