Old year / New year bass
For the last ten years I've made a tradition of catching at least one bass on December 31 & on January 1.
NPD trip took care of the first half, NP river trip planned for today for the second leg.
Final score was 18 bass, 2 goldens and a few spangles. Most bass on surface lures, 4 on the troll, the 2 goldens on spinnerbaits and the spangles on a fluro red mini crawdad. Wet & windy trip but worth the results.
Paddled upstream from the launch point all the way to the top of the dam (good water flowing in), long paddle and even longer coming back against wind & rain squalls.
Started fishing after passing Rush Creek concentrating on grass banks, fallen trees and rocky outcrops. Would be great to fish those places at night!!!!
No Camera and only used my phone to take a few quick scenery photos due to the wet conditions. Will post photos when downloaded / resized.

Nice job Luc pitty about the rain but i suppose they were still on the chew. I hope to be joining you in NPD after the next permit ballot (fingers crossed).
