    wahewan

I took my old work Ewan out to chase some wahoo this morning after hearing that there are a few around. He was rigged with a video camera on the peak of his hat to capture the action but got so excited when he hooked up that he forgot to turn it on! We got a few photos anyway and ended with 3 wahoo with one a bit bigger than expected. Conditions were not too bad apart from the slop between Comby point and the cape.

    Happy New Year,

    Re: wahewan

    Spectre,

We were using varying size hex heads mainly in dark colours and lumo with about 300mm of wire. We were trolling with braid 10 and 15 kilo and find the hook up rate a lot better than mono and you can also see where the fishing is going better without the belly of line that you tend to get with mono. the main advantage is that you know earlier when the fish is running at you and you catch up to him quicker.

    hope this helps.

    Hi Phil

Thanks again for donating those frames to my research project. Hopefully the run of wahoo continues right throughout summer.

    I hope so too.

I gave your number to my mate Roger, he should call you with his address and he has 2 more frames for you.
