    Dollies no Bills

Went for an 8 hour troll off Point lookout today. The group was slow and didn't turn a reel anywhere around it. Couldn't find any birds/bait so headed out towards the 100m line towing pushers where we pulled a nice Dolphin fish on 8kg and that would be it until on the way home in about 40m of water off the bar where another Dollie was landed. It was the slowest I have seen it out there but still an enjoyable day on the water. I managed to get my bro back out fishing and was over 15 years since he last came for a fish so the Dollie kept him amused.

    Regards
    Greg

Awesome shots, some great colours on the Dollies whilst they are still kicking. Good to see some one is getting out, how was the chop/swell today with the showers passing over?

    Hi Andrew
The conditions were messy this morning and with all the current and swell the group/sevens area was pretty ordinary. Condtions got better the wider we went and the further south we went. We manage to miss all the rain that was coming over as well.

    Cheers

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges

Up here we Use Hussar as baits for real RED FISHS (SHSIIFDER)

Good to see someone else getting out. The conditions do seem to be workable, just not forthcoming with too many fish. Nice clear pic's too.

    Cheers

Nice Dolly Greg. You convinced me not to head out today. Conditions would jhave been marginal at best. Were you just running pushers?

    Cheers

Just when I had time off this week and was planning to hit close in on the Tweed Coast the bloody rain comes down. I imagine it's as brown as brown at the moment.

What was water colour like out there Greg.

    Hi Greg

Sure beats mine and Waynes 3 Grassies for the same day. I thought that was you go past...we were fishing the northern tip of Cleveland point. Top fish mate as always.
